Our April!

Our April!!!!

As a birthday gift, Freddy sent me to Chicago to spend a few days with Danielle!

We stayed at the Trump Tower in Downtown Chicago...

Went to the Spa...

We explored the city by walking everywhere!

Like the "Blowtique", where we got our hair done...

And to the mall...

Where we got our makeup done!

Then back to our room...

Where we enjoyed the view of the water...

And the city!

We ate a ton...

And relaxed!

It was so nice to spend time with my beautiful sis!

I will miss her so much, but will see her this summer!

To celebrate Evan turning 9...

We rented out the Arizona Science Center for the night!

We got to watch a private showing in the Planetarium...

All about the Solar System!

After Cookie Cake...

Evan got his lab coat on for fun in the exhibits!

It was fun for the parents too!!!

He of course had to play the part of a mad scientist...

Even laid on a bed of nails!

They all got to perform some experiments...

And then it was time to put on the pajamas and go to bed!

When we all woke, it was breakfast time...

Then time to say goodbye.  It was a party to remember!!!

On Evan's actual birthday...

We went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate!!!

On Easter morning the boys ate candy for breakfast!!!

Then, after church, we had a BBQ and egg hunt!

It was a great day with friends & family!!!

Ryan's spring baseball picture turned out really cute!
Go Stars!!!

Ryan also helps an older team in the league when they are short a kid on their roster...

21 was taken...so he had to pull a number switcheroo to 12!

Freddy coaches 1st base for the team sometimes when they need help.

In Ryan's first kid pitch AB...

He got on base!  HBP!  Just got a piece of his ankle ;)

On pajama day at school, Evan got to...

Dissect a SQUID!  He loved it!

Ryan loves to go to the bike park lately...
and was finally able to get up to ramp!  Woohoo!

That is it from us for now!
We hope April has been a great month for all of you!
Look for more from us next month!

Mid February through March Update

The boys love their weekends...

And each other!!!!

Science night at Ryan's school was at the end of February.
Our little Einstein made an appearance also!

Here is Ryan's static electricity experiment!

On March 1st, Ryan's flag football team won the championship!
Here is an awesome touchdown run by Ryan in the final game...

And here is Ryan in flag pulling mode...

Our little Steelers played their hearts out!  Congratulations Kiddos!

One of Ryan's new classmates invited us to his birthday party at the zoo!

We hadn't been in a while, so it was a nice time!

Ryan's Field Day was on March 7th.  There were tons of fun activities!

His favorites were the football toss...

And the tug of war!

On that same day, Evan had a wax museum presentation at his school!  He chose Nolan Ryan from the list, because of the name "Ryan"...not realizing who Nolan Ryan was and that he had met him at the World Series in 2010!!!

To celebrate my birthday, Freddy treated myself and our group to dinner at Mastro's!

We even danced a little to the live music!

It was so yummy...as usual!  Victor and Sujey even surprised me with a visit from CA for the weekend!

Evan was a singing soloist at his Spring Show!

I am always amazed when I watch him play the violin!

The boys spring breaks were split up this year, but we snuck in a quick little 2 night trip...

To the Ritz at Dove Mountain.  It was beautiful!

They even had a tent for the boys to sleep in!

There were animals for the boys to look at at the Ranger station!  Scorpions, snakes, and tarantulas!  Oh My!

The boys had a nice time at the pool!

Then when they got cold, they enjoyed the jacuzzi!

One of my studs decided to model for me...

Then all 3 of them did!!!

One of the highlights of the trip was our tour of this 200,000 year old cavern!
Amazing!  Cameras were not allowed inside.  Booo!!!

Another activity in March was Multi-Cultural Day at Rancho.

Evan tapped into his Spanish side!

He even served up horchata to his friends!

Ryan started another season of Baseball!
Go Stars!

Ryan has already made some incredible plays this season!  Here is one of them!
Like Father, like Son!  =)

To round out March, Evan did a Shoot...

For a show called Dead Men the Series!

He was in heaven!!!

We love our Little Cowboy!

Hope you all enjoyed the update!
You'll get another next month!
XOXO
