Our Busy Month of April!

The Easter Bunny seems to get smaller each year!
Wait!  We are just getting bigger!

Mr. Mike from across the street grows his own carrots!

He let us put them out for the Easter Bunny!

On Easter, we had an egg hunt out front...

And Ryan took a short break to eat candy!  Ha ha!
We had a nice relaxing Easter!

Evan was a Greek God at school!

He is the one who walks on stage...

He also got to announce the C.A.R.E Drawing.  It's a big deal!  ;)

Good job Evan!

Speaking of good...good pull Ryan!!!

Another one!

Here is Ryan on the mound! K#1...

K#2...

K#3!  3 up...3 down!  Whoot whoot!

Ryan's big event at school was planned by myself and these other fine ladies/Mom's!

There was an Arctic Table...

An African Savannah Table...

And a Rainforest Table!

Ryan was a Rhino...

From the African Savannah!

And a cute little Rhino at that!

Evan and his buddy Quinn rooted Ryan and his friends on from the audience!

He did a wonderful job on stage!

We love our Rhino!!!

Speaking of love, our sweet Evan was turning 10...

So we were able to celebrate his special day at school with his teacher and friends!

That night we were able to to Buddy up with a Special Needs baseball team!
Evan did some announcing when the kids came up to bat...

And Ryan helped his Buddy around the bases!

The following day, our little Stars had a game of their own to play!
Base Hit Ryguy!!

Beat it Out!
Good hustle Ryan!

The decor for the boys' school fundraiser was my responsibility this year!

I even borrowed things from our house and took them to the hotel for added "punch"!

It took all year to plan...

And a lot of work to pull off!

I am grateful for the wonderful parents and friends who helped out!

Besides the ballroom, there was a silent auction room...

Which turned out nicely as well!

The theme was Midsummer Nights...so a smore' favor was at each place setting.
The tag read "YOUR GENEROSTIY MEANS S'MORE THAN YOU KNOW!"

The luminaries lined the path to the front door...time for the festivities!

This arch was borrowed from our florist.
The last time Freddy and I stood under it was during our 10 year vow renewal!

These were the wonderful women who put the event together!
Evan's teacher photo bombed! Ha ha!

The 19th was Evan's actual birthday!  He got a Lego Table for his room!

He looks so much like Daddy!

We took a few minutes that morning to look back on the day Evan came into our lives!

One of his gifts was a pair of adventure shoes...

And they fit like a glove...

So we took them out for a test drive!

I love my boys!

Mr. Adventure walked on water! Wow!

After we worked up a sweat...

Froyo was next on the agenda...

And after a shower...

A Teppanyaki Dinner wrapped up Evan's day!

I can't believe I've already been a Mommy for a decade!

Evan had a field trip to Taliesin West.  It's a Frank Lloyd Wright Home in Scottsdale.
He took a picture of the pool...

Then took a picture of the same pool...but the Lego version!

Evan and Quinn were on top of the world!

Evan decided on a Minecraft Sleepover for his party this year!

Each boy took home pixel sunglasses and a Creeper favor bag of goodies...

The decor was fun to put together!

We had a food table...

And a dessert table...

There were Enderman leading everyone into the playroom...

Where the boys would sleep...

And torches hung in the playroom like in the game.

We had pin the tail on the pig and snacks outside for the boys...

And new pool noodles and beach balls for them to play with!

Before we knew it...

Everything was ready to go!

Including the pixelated windows...

And the games!

Once the birthday boy was home from school...

We took some pictures...

And waited patiently for friends to arrive!

Of course Ryan had to sample the food before everyone else!

Ok...
Time to PARTY!

After the boys ate and played games...

It was swimming time!

Before we knew it, it was time for pajamas...

And cake!  Phew!  Party done...and April too!

Spring is in the Air!

On the 8th, Mommy got a year older.  We went to church, then to eat!  It was fun!

When Spring Break rolled around, we decided to take a trip to the Phoenix Zoo!
Auntie Sarah came too!

We started at Stingray Bay...

Then said bye to them...

And rode camels with our friends!  This is Brayden!

And this is Will!

After the camel ride, we walked over to the Orangutan Exhibit.

This one was soooo funny!!!!

Ryan is studying Rhino's in school, so he opted to ride this guy on the Carousel!

Evan chose the bald eagle so he could dress him up of course!!!

We HAD to visit the Rhino before we left!
It was a great start to break!!!

The Ostrich Festival comes to Chandler each year!

We got a cool drink...

On our way to watch the Ostrich Races!

Check this out!!!

Mommy and Daddy couldn't believe we jumped!!!

We also rode a bull...

Which Ryan was a little nervous about, but did great!

We played some Carnival Games...

And played in the Fun House!

Uncle Jojo met up with us after work, then Ryan ran into a friend from his class!

Here were are patiently waiting...

To run around in balls like hamsters!

See you next year!

Daddy helped coach a Chandler National Baseball Team last summer.
One of the Dad's from the team gave us a tour of the Fire Station as a thank you!

He even took us on a ride in one of the trucks!

While we were visiting, he got a call!
He took us with him!

It was so awesome!

Watch out World!  Thanks Mr. Diaz!

With Ryan's first baseball tournament coming up,
Daddy decided to have a fun practice to lighten the mood!

Instead of practicing, they played with water balloons!

After he spent the morning filling balloons, it started to rain,
so instead of the boys throwing balloons at each other and get sick from being cold,
Freddy let them take turns throwing them at him!  The kids LOVED it!

Tourney Day has Arrived!

Ready!!!

Here are a few plays from the tournament...

Great job Ryguy!  Woohoo!

After the Friday game, we went for a swim at our hotel.

It was a little too cool for Mommy!

Daddy and his babies played Marco Polo with a random little boy.

I think everyone enjoyed the family time!
This face has LOVE written all over it!

After the Saturday Games, we visited the Stables on the Hotel Property.
We were there too late in the day to go horseback riding...

But there was a little girl there with a big bag of carrots,
so she let us feed some to the horses!

We had never fed horses before!

Bye Cibola Canyon Resort!
Thanks for the stay!

We didn't win the tournament, but we made some new friends
and enjoyed the experience!  We were so proud of the boys!
Great job Stars!!!

With the tournament finished,
it was time for our regular East Valley Season to start!
We won 10-1!

Spring Football started also!
Steelers Win!

The 2nd Game of the Season, Ryan got to catch!

Look how cute his squat is!!!

Great job Ryguy!

We won 17-1 this time!
Go Stars!

This is a picture promoting the upcoming auction/dinner that benefits the boys school!
I am in charge of the decorations for the venue and marketing!
It is April 18th!  The day before this guy turns 10!!!!

Here is a picture from Evan's portfolio!
He got invited to go through training at John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center!
Once he finishes his 10 classes, Model Talent Management will represent him!

Here he is with Tim, the "scout who discovered him"
before his first class.  Poor kid is so shy!  Lol!  Work it Evan!
Goodbye March!
