Lots to Celebrate in the Sanchez Household!

Spring in the air means Easter!

Here is a short highlight reel of Ryan in the USSSA Spring Classic I Tourney!

The boys found a way to win the whole thing!
They were the youngest team and came out on top!

Way to go Stars!

On the 11th, Ryan and his class went to the Halle Heart Museum.

I didn't chaperone, but some sweet Mom's sent me these photos!
The kiddos had a good time!

The following day was the Spring Carnival for Ryan's school!

He rode rides...

Played games...

And was even the first one to successfully dunk the teacher!

Here is a short recap of Ryan from the USSSA Spring Classic II Tourney!

And they did it AGAIN!
Back to back weekends they won the 12U Championship as an 11U Team!

This one felt especially sweet!  #1!!!

On the 19th, Evan turned 14th!

He was happy to wake up to find his room and door decorated...

The party table set...

And 50 chocolate munchkins at his fingertips!

Ryguy gave him a lot of love...

He got McD's for lunch...

And had a blast destroying his "T Series" piñata!

Above is a link for you all to see him in action and what we stashed inside!

After the piñata fun, we all went for a swim...

And then went to a favorite restaurant of Evan's to celebrate!

They brought him a fun dessert and sang to him...

Then we did the same at home with his "Pewty Pie" cake!

He said it was an AWESOME birthday!
Thank you to all who helped make him feel as special as he is!

The week before Easter, we took a family pic with Mr Easter Bunny!

We also had the boys decorate eggs...

And had them lay out goodies for the bunny!

On Easter Sunday, they awoke to some sweet treats...

And then we had friends and family over for a fun day and egg hunt!

After, the boys had a blast with confetti eggs!

It was a colorful and joyous Resurrection Day!

Freddy flew with Ryan to California for a Top Tier Baseball Practice on the 27th,
so Evan and I had some fun just the two of us at home!

This was his closest attempt at making a shot from the waterfall.

While we were cooling off in the backyard at home, Ryan was working hard on the field!

Here is a short collection of his hits during the scrimmage!

The following day, they flew home...
just in time to hang out with Miss Amanda and her daughter, Ella!
Miss Amanda used to babysit the boys when they were little.
Our April was wonderful!  Hope you enjoyed the recap!

Our March!

In the SC Trojan's Final Game of the Season, Ryan saw a lot of action!
Enjoy watching his highlights using this link!

The boys went undefeated!  Way to go Champs!

We had a scrimmage at the field the boys used to play at before club ball!.
Ryan had a single and a double!  Memories!

Danielle and I turned 40 on the 8th!
Freddy got me some fun balloons to wake up to!

That afternoon, the Stars Mommas made me feel really special!

They got me balloons, some fun gifts, and even a cake!

In our 1st Pool Play Game
of the Triple Crown Spring Championship Tourney,
we won!  It's all I asked of the boys.  ;)
Ryan pitched and struck out 3!

After the game, the boys sang to me!

Then we went to a sports bar/grill for dinner!

Thank you everyone for all of the sweet birthday wishes, gifts and cards!
I felt VERY special!

The following day, Ryan had a single in Game #2!

The sunset was gorgeous!

Then, in the Semi Final Game he got an RBI single to tie up the game!

In between games, the boys had some fun being boys!  Ha ha!

Then in the Championship Game, a 2 RBI single!
We won it all!

Way to go Stars!

It was the first time the boys earned a Championship belt!

The following weekend, Victor came to visit and cheer on the Stars!

In Game #1 of the USSSA Super NIT Tourney, Ryan pitched and struck out 4!

Later in the tourney, Ryan had a double!

We came up a little short in the Semi-Final Game,
but it wasn't for lack of effort!
Ryan had a great game behind the plate!
Check him out!  =)

On St. Patty's Day, Ryan took green eye black to the field
for his teammates to wear so they wouldn't get pinched!

We ended up finishing 3rd in our age group among 28 teams!
That was definitely worth celebrating!!!

Then, from the 21st to the 28th of the month, we took the MOST AMAZING trip to the Bahamas!
The memories from Danielle and I's 40th birthday celebration was excitement overload for this blog, so I am currently working on a slideshow that I will share with you all ASAP!
Here is a little teaser pic...more the come!

February in our Household!

Here is a highlight reel from Ryan's game vs. the Broncos on the 1st!
He had a flag pull, a pick 6, a great defensive play, caught a pass/ran, and had a TD!

Evan loves making movies.
Here is a short one he made in a few hours with his friend.
He named it Turtle Man!  Enjoy!

On Super Bowl Sunday, Ryan had some muddy fun with his buddies...

And we all enjoyed watching the game together!

On the 4th, Tania and Holly took me to dinner for an early birthday celebration!
It was delicious!  I don't actually turn 40 until March 8th.

On the 6th Evan came home with another 100% Club Slip.
He is doing so great in school...

And because of that earned a place for himself at the High School of his choice!
Seton Catholic will welcome Evan in the Fall!
Class of 2023!

Here is a little reel of plays from Ryan's game vs. The Saints!
He had a flag pull, threw a TD pass, and had a 2 pt conversion.

Good job Big Bubba Beef!

In the Stars most recent tourney, the USSSA Ice Breaker,
Ryan pitched really well versus the AZ Warriors!
Once again, we played up in 12U.  Here is a video of his 5 strikeouts!

On the same day, the Stars played the Scottsdale Dirtbags Grey.
Ryan had an RBI Single, a great throw to 2nd for the out, and a good block at the plate!

I thought this strawberry looked like a heart, so I gave it to my boys!  ;)

Then just like last year, on our soggy Valentine's Day,
we enjoyed a cozy lunch at The Mission in Scottsdale!

Ryan got a flag and caught 2 TD Passes against the Knights Silver!
This was the closest game of the season, but the boys still won by 14!

Our creative Evan took this while at the park with his friend.
He wanted everyone to know "there were no filters used or editing done to this photo".

He also allowed our turtle, Chubs to play Xbox!
Now we just need to get him to share with his brother!  Ha ha!

On the 26th, the Stars Mom's went to dinner together...

And then painted baseballs for our Stars!
It's always fun hanging out with this great group of ladies!
Another fun month in the books!

Can't wait to welcome spring!!!

New Year...New Month!

At the beginning of the month, we took a trip to Flagstaff!

We played in the snow for a bit upon arrival/check in...

Then went for a chilly walk to dinner.

The next day the boys and I went skiing!
Freddy and Victor hung out at the lodge and watched us...

The weather was perfect!  It was a fun trip!

We are happy to announce that Ryan made Honor Roll during his 1st Semester at Carlson!
Congratulations Ryguy!

Before each game, we hang a banner on our Stars dugout!  Here is our latest!
They need to stop growing so it can last a while! Lol!

Here is a montage of Ryan's Hits from Game #1 vs the Sandlot during our Winter Classic Tourney.
We were rained out...Boo hoo!

Here is a montage of Ryan's plays during the South Chandler Trojans 1st game of the season!
He had a 2 pt conversion and 3 flags on the night!

The next tourney was the MLK Classic Global NIT.
Ryan pitched an awesome complete game with 8K's!
He also had an RBI Single!  This is a montage of his big day!

The 3rd game of the tourney, we played a friend's team.
Here is a montage of Ryan's Highlights!

The next game began bracket play.
You can tell it was a do or die game by my reactions!  Lol!
So...with that win it was on to the Semi Final Game!

Our Stars battled, but fell a little short in this game,
so we didn't make it to the Championship Game.
Ryan contributed with a single to finish out a great tourney!

During our time at baseball,
Evan had fun with our nephew Jason, and his daughter Abi!

In the Trojans 2nd game of the season, Ryan threw a TD Pass,
caught a 2 Pt Conversion, got 2 flags, and caught a TD Pass!
Here is a video montage of those plays!

On the 26th, our little foodie turned 11!
The day before his big day,
he brought donuts to school to share with his friends!

He also chose to bring donuts to celebrate with his football team!

On his actual birthday, he got his favorite breakfast!  Henhouse!  Yummy!

Ryan ate some yummy cookie cake,
got wonderful gifts from friends and family,
and had a great time celebrating!

He had a pretty low key day...but enjoyed it just the same!
