September has Come and Gone!

On the 4th, Evan fell and sprained his wrist.
We were so thankful it was just sprain and not a break!
You never know with all of those little bones in the hand.
He wore the brace for about a week and was then back to his normal self!

Ryan's goal over Fall Break was to do a front flip!
Above is a link of him practicing at a local "fun place"...

He didn't perfect it, so he set up a place to practice at home.
Above is the link to see him at work...

Connor, Brayden and Ryan joined a soccer league together.
It is lacking organization, but the boys are enjoying it anyway!

Ryan got this dice stacking set for Christmas.
He finally perfected it during the Stanford/USC game!

It's been a year since we got Chubs, so the boys threw him a Birthday Party!
Above is the video link to watch...

He was definitely the King of the Castle on his big day!

Freddy decided to see if his car could pick up some of the daily chores! LOL!
This was as Evan would say "Big Brain" on Dad's part!

This Tik Tok of Evan's got some attention online!
I laughed and said "Wow & Yuck" all at the same time!

During Spirit Week at Seton, Evan was able to wear pajamas one day...

Dress as a nerd one day...

And dress up in a career day outfit!
Since actors wear many things on set, he just "threw" a tie on!

Ryan is our little chef in the making!
He made dinner entirely on his own one evening!
It was delicious!

After 2 phases of braces and almost 3 years to the day exactly,
Evan got his braces off!  It was perfect timing because...

That Saturday was the Homecoming Dance!

Dad took him to pick out his suit.  Where did the time go!?

He went with his Buddy Niall.
They said they had an awesome time!

For the Utah @ USC game, Ryan was back in the kitchen to help with dinner...

Then he suited up to root on the Trojans!

Here are a few a little videos from one of the Ryan's soccer games...

Goal! Thanks for the video Miss Tania!

On Adrian's 40th Birthday, Victor came out for a visit!

The guys were able to meet up with Chong the next morning for golf!
They had a blast hitting the links together!

Remember how I said the soccer league was unorganized?
Well, the other team was short on players last weekend,
so Dad and Vic had to be the goalies!

Ryan scored one goal on each of them!  Ha ha!  They were great sports!

Goodbye September and Goodbye Summer!
We are ready to welcome Fall...

Our Speedy August!

On the 7th, Evan started High School!
Here is a side by side of his 1st day of Kinder versus his 1st Day of H.S.!

He had a great 1st day and is loving Seton!
He found this #17 paper in his new shorts...

And that is neat because on the 7th Freddy and I celebrated our 17th Wedding Anniversary!
We went to dinner on the 9th...

And we exchanged cards!
He got me 17 beautiful red roses!
♥️

On the 11th, the boys got a little crazy in the backyard! 😜
You can see in the link above...

On the 14th, Ryan and Brayden cheered on Blake and Rhino as they played against each other.
Four of their teammates made their Junior High Baseball Teams!

On the 25th, Ryan helped Freddy with one of his Fantasy Football Drafts!

I really enjoyed watching the boys play with Kenetic Sand one night.
The older they get, the nicer it is to see them play together!

Finally on the last day of the month, we watched USC play Fresno State.
Thankfully they won!  My guys "Fight On" for better or worse!

See you all next month! Fall is nearing...

The Close of our Summer...

The last few weeks of our summer was jam packed!

We enjoyed fun at home on the 4th!

I also took the boys to Gravity Extreme!

They each reached the top...

And then dropped!  Yikes!!!

Next we went to California for a short family vacation, as well as a USA tryout for Ryan!

Freddy and I got a date night at Don Cuco's...

And we all went to the beach!

It was 20 degrees cooler on the coast than it was inland!

So because of that, Ryan was really the only one who went in the water!

Freddy and I enjoyed taking in the rays,
then it was time to head back to Santa Clarita for baseball.

Ryan's buddies, Brayden and Ryan (Rhino) were at the tryout too...

Along with Connor!  Our time together with them and their families was a blast!

Below is a short link to Ryan's Highlights on the field! Enjoy!

When Ryan was at the field one day, Evan and I went to Magic Mountain!

I hadn't been there since I was a teenager, and Evan had never been.
He is a huge thrill seeker and loved it!

I loved the time I got to spend with him there!

The day before we left town, we HAD to squeeze in a trip to Corner Cottage!
I introduced my friend Tania to the good stuff!  Ha ha!

Vic came to visit and watch Ryguy play,
so while Freddy and Vic hung out for the evening...

I took the boys to Universal Studios!

We went on everything they wanted...
including Harry Potter the rollercoaster!

We also got them Butterbeer for a treat...

And met a funny cop!

Evan and I rode the new Jurassic World ride together...

Then he and Ryan went on The Mummy together...

So while I waited for them, I found a friend!

Before the Tram Tour, the boys each got a HUGE donut!

It was a great afternoon & evening with the boys at Universal!

Before our flight out, we swung by Giamela's for a yummy pepper steak!

It was a wonderful trip!

The last week of July, Ryan started school!
He is in the CTA program at Charlotte Patterson Elementary.

6th Grade in Mrs. Smith's class was off to a great start on Meet the Teacher Night!

Ryan decided before he hit the books to run a lemonade stand...

And made some decent cash in doing so!

On the 23rd, Ryan started his LAST 1st Day of Elementary School!
(On the left was a pic of his 1st Day of Kinder.  Where does the time go!?)

Evan decided to have himself drawn as a Simpson character!

We all loved the result!

Since the commitment didn't interfere with baseball,
and he showed interest in the trumpet,
Ryan joined the band at school!

To close out the month, a few other baseball things happened!
There was a cool article in the LA Times that was posted...

And Freddy did a signing. He was asked to have his autograph included on this.
It's a Ty Cobb Batting Title winner poster!

Sorry I was a little late into the month to post this.
August's blog will follow shortly after!
We hope this finds you all healthy and happy!
