The 2nd Half of our Summer!

On Independence Day, the boys showed their personalities through their clothes...

And Freddy and I wore shirts from his gym!

We BBQ'd at the Cazares' House, then went to the lake to watch the fireworks.

I think fireworks are much more spectacular when they are set to music,
so I played my own!

After the show, we did sparklers...

And some fun little fireworks!

We had a fun night celebrating the 4th!

The following day, the boys and I went to Chicago to visit Danielle and the kids!!!
We went to little Benny's TBall Game...

Had an almost private 3D showing of...

Went to their local Waterpark...

Ate some really delicious donuts...

And just enjoyed our time together!

One day we decided to get everyone all spiffed up and go for a photo shoot!

The kiddos were so patient with all of our requests, and the pictures turned out so great that...

We bought them a tank!!!!
Ha ha!  Just kidding...
There was a park with TANKS THEY COULD CLIMB!
So much fun!

We were so happy with the kiddos pics...

And then realized,
we probably should get a pic together!

One day we went to the zoo...

And had a picnic in the park...

We also went to the Jelly Belly Factory...

And even took the train to Downtown Chicago!

Love this girl!
We had an amazing time!
Miss you Nachtigall's a ton!

Thanks to Ethan and his growing feet,
he let Evan use his Heely's until Ben is big enough for them!
It is an art form for sure, but Evan got the hang of it almost immediately!

While we were in Chicago,
Freddy took a guys trip to Vegas!

Vic and Freddy went to watch UFC Fights while they were there!

The boys love Grimaldi's!
They tried to copy with their own dough one night! Ha ha!

My biggest purchase as of late was this beautiful new car!
It is very similar to my old QX,
but 5 years newer!

Evan loves to make movies!
This is a short clip he made at Grandma's house.
It's all digital, but it's on Grandma's counter!

To celebrate our 14th Wedding Anniversary,
we took a trip to Vegas!

We stayed at the Aria...

Enjoyed our annual special dinner at...

No surprise there!  Ha ha!

We got a cabana at the pool one day...

Went to see the show Absinthe...

Which was HILARIOUS by the way!
This was our second time seeing it since it started running.
The entertainment portions are pretty incredible!

We also went over the the Wynn...

For a yummy Japanese Steakhouse meal!

Another day we went to the spa...

And also to our favorite mexican restaurant!

There were so many fun things we did,
but we more than anything, we enjoyed our time together!
It was the perfect vacation to celebrate US!

Before school resumed, I took the boys to an open skate session!

Ryguy says he wants to be a hockey player,
but he found skating to be a little more difficult than he anticipated!

Evan on the other hand was light on his blades!

He even used Ryan's ice skating trainer as a prop!

Thankfully Ryan got better as time went by!

Time for school!  It was a great summer!
We hope all of you enjoyed yours!
Have a safe and healthy start to the new school year!

The 1st Half of our Summer!!!

After Ryan's last baseball game of the season, we went to dinner...

There was a balloon artist there!

Freddy was invited to announce the draft picks for the Pirates 2016 MLB Draft!

He flew to New Jersey.  We watched him on TV from home!

Evan's chose to go to theatre camp one week this summer!

He had a performance at the end of the week. The kids played orphans.

All 25 children auditioned for the singing solo
but only Evan got the part!

On Father's Day we went out for pizza!

The boys chose their gift for Daddy...

These are pictures of them making it...

A 3D statue of themselves!
They re-enacted their poses after gifting it to him!

Our big family trip this summer was to Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego!

The boys loved the sand!

And we enjoyed the sunsets!

We had some nice dinners...

And enjoyed smore's!

Freddy and the boys went boogie boarding...

So glad I got this hand holding ride on video!

They also took surfing lessons!

I was so proud that all 3 of them were able to Hang Ten!

On our last full day in San Diego...

We went JET PACKING!

Freddy went 1st!

It was a challenge!
I had bruises everywhere the next day!

I only crashed a few times! Ha ha!

Kids were only allowed to ride with a professional...

But because of that, they were able to do all kinds of tricks!

Evan was all smiles after that ride!

Ryan was fearless too!

He even did the submarine trick Evan did where you go underwater!

We had a great visit, so we marked our spot for next time!

Our next adventure was to Los Angeles...

So we took the Amtrak!

The boys and I had never taken the train before!

It was a lot better than driving to LA!

Look at the view we had for much of the ride!

When we got to LA, we had to visit our hot spots and our close friends!
Don Cuco's...

Corner Cottage...

And then it was off to USC!

Evan got to see the Dramatic Arts Building...

He said he wants to go to USC for college!

Ryan got to attend a football camp!

Fight On!

We waited to get Ryan all checked in...

Then he got right into the action!

He met Juju Smith and lots of other players!

He went through all the drills the big guys do...

And then got a tour of the facilities!

They even got to meet Clay Helton!

He was so nice!
He even signed Ryan's football!

Ryan's scrimmage coach posted this...it was a great day!

Future Trojans!

While Ryan was at USC all day,
I took Evan to the the CA Science Center to hang with Tiff and Family!

We got to see the Space Shuttle Endeavor...

And pretend we were "Under the Sea"!

We had a great afternoon and a enjoyed our time in LA!

Before we rolled into July, we did a few other fun things!
We went to the mall with Mommy,
so the lady at the MAC counter gave us eye black...

We went to Bahama Bucks to cool off...

And although we haven't seen it on TV ourselves,
the Aguilar's caught Evan's Arizona Science Center Commercial airing on Nick Jr!
We hope to see it for ourselves soon!

I hope you enjoyed our June recap!
Next to work on July!
Look for that soon!
Hope all is well for all of you!
